Texas High School Volleyball - Andrews over Friona

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) and the host Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX), saw Andrews's volleyball squad beat Friona by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Andrews upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Permian (Odessa, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Permian won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Denver City (Denver City, TX)

The Chieftans now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Shallowater for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 15. Friona will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Miles (Miles, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
