The Hornets now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross Roads for a non-league game on Saturday, August 12. Miller Grove will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Miller Grove (Cumby, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-0.
The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Big Sandy dropped by Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
