In Saturday's non-league contest, the United Longhorns (Laredo, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Sotomayor WILDCATS (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. United will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.

With the loss, Boerne moves to 5-3 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Holmes (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Huskies in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 15. The Huskies go into the contest with a record of 3-4. Holmes lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX)
