Texas High School Volleyball - Decatur tips Manvel

Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 15. Decatur will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 9-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Plano (Plano, TX).

With the loss, Manvel drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to George Ranch (Richmond, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league match on Saturday, August 12. The Longhorns come into the match with a record of 2-5. George Ranch lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Clear Springs (League City, TX)
