The Donna Redskins (Donna, TX) volleyball nudged the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Donna upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Redskins travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX) to face the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 12. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Donna North (Donna, TX)

The Golden Bears now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sotomayor for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 15. Edison will face a WILDCATS squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Johnson (San Antonio, TX). The WILDCATS record now stands at 6-2.
