The Putnam City Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Douglass Trojans to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midwest City for a non-league game on Saturday, August 12. Putnam City will meet a Bombers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Santa Fe South (Oklahoma City, OK). The Bombers record now stands at 1-1.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Northwest Classen gained a win over Star-Spencer (Spencer, OK), 3-0, in a league game.
