In Saturday's non-league contest, the Garland Owls (Garland, TX) volleyball squad nudged the host Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Owls battle the Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 12. Garland will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gunter (Gunter, TX).
