The Harrison Central Red Rebels volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Poplarville Hornets to 0 in the Red Rebels non-league victory on Saturday.

The Red Rebels now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gautier for a non-league game on Thursday, August 17. Harrison Central will meet a Gators team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Resurrection Catholic (Pascagoula, MS). The Gators record now stands at 4-5.

The Hornets (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Tigers enter the Class 4 Region 8 game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Moss Point gained a win over Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS), 3-2, in a non-league game.
