Texas High School Volleyball - Johnson edged by Sotomayor

The Sotomayor WILDCATS held off the visiting Johnson Jaguars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The WILDCATS now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edison for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 15. Sotomayor will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Donna (Donna, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 0-2.

The Jaguars (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Warren was nudged by Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
