In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Jourdanton Indians/Squaws volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls).

The Indians/Squaws (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Hondo lost by Jones (Beeville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) confront the Stacey Eagles (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 12. Uvalde will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Atonement Academy (San Antonio, TX).
