The Picayune Maroon Tide volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Moss Point Tigers to 0 in the Maroon Tide non-league victory on Saturday.

The Maroon Tide now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poplarville for a non-league game on Saturday, August 12. Picayune will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Stone (Wiggins, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Poplarville (Poplarville, MS). The Hornets enter the Class 4 Region 8 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Poplarville defeated Stone (Wiggins, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
