The Pearl River Central Blue Devils held off the host Picayune Maroon Tide volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poplarville for a non-league test on Saturday, August 12. Pearl River Central will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Stone (Wiggins, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.
The Maroon Tide (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Poplarville (Poplarville, MS). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Poplarville held off Stone (Wiggins, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
