With the triumph, Mercer County moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Danville (Danville, KY) to meet the Admirals in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Admirals come into the test with a record of 0-2. Danville lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Southwestern (Somerset, KY)

The Cardinals now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bethlehem for a District 19 test on Wednesday, August 14. Nelson County will meet a Eagles/Banshees team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Eagles/Banshees record now stands at 2-0.
