Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY) and the host Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), saw Caldwell County's soccer squad hold off Webster County by a count of 4-3.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Madisonville-North Hopkins tipped University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 17. Webster County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
