In Monday's non-league test, the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA), by a tally of 13-2.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 3 test, on Tuesday, August 13. Toombs County will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA).
The Cavaliers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Lowndes was routed by Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA), 10-2, in a non-league battle.
