The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) and the host North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA), observed Cherokee Bluff's softball team get by North Hall by a tally of 7-3.

The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Collins Hill was routed by Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA), 1-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, August 13. North Hall will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA).
