With the triumph, Pope improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to face the Chiefs in a 5A Region 6 game on Thursday, August 15. The Chiefs enter the game with a record of 2-1. Sequoyah won 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Milton (Milton, GA)

The Knights now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Creekside for a 4A Region 4 game on Monday, August 19.
