With the triumph, Sulphur upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK) to play the Panthers in a 4A District 1 game on Tuesday, August 13. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Savages now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Colbert for a non-league game on Monday, August 19. Wynnewood will play a Leopards squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Tushka (Atoka, OK). The Leopards record now stands at 0-5.
