Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), 4-1 in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Scott (Covington, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 14. Cooper will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY).
