The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Wetumka Chieftains (Wetumka, OK) and the visiting Bowlegs Bison (Bowlegs, OK), observed Wetumka's softball team prevail over Bowlegs by a tally of 16-3.

The Chieftains (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Maud (Maud, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Maud was routed by Stonewall (Stonewall, OK), 12-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bison clash with the Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) in a Class A match, on Thursday, August 14. Bowlegs will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
