The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Carnegie Wildcats (Carnegie, OK) and the host Hammon Warriors (Hammon, OK), saw Carnegie's softball squad topple Hammon by a score of 19-4.

With the triumph, Carnegie improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hydro-Eakly (Hydro, OK) to play the Bobcats in a Class A game on Monday, September 15. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK) in a Class B match, on Thursday, August 14. Hammon will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
