The Elgin Owls softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Comanche Indians to 0 in the Owls non-league win on Tuesday.

The Owls now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edmond Memorial for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. Elgin will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.

The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Okarche (Okarche, OK). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Okarche overcame Chattanooga (Chattanooga, OK), 7-1, in a league challenge.
