The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Howe Lions (Howe, OK) and the host Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK), saw Howe's softball squad nip Wilburton by a score of 4-3.

With the triumph, Howe improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lions host Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 14. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Diggers battle the Quinton Savages (Quinton, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 16. Wilburton will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
