Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) fans went home satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their softball team gain a win over the visiting Nowata Ironmen (Nowata, OK), 11-0 in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. Sequoyah will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
The Ironmen (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK). The Cougars enter the 2A challenge with a 0-0 record.
