The South Spartans topped the host Avalon Lancers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Poway Titans (Poway, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 15. South will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Lancers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Milken (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Milken went down by Malibu (Malibu, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
