The Brandon Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Madison Central for a non-league game on Thursday, August 14. Brandon will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-1.

The Patriots (6-2) will now prepare for their game against St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Bruins enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, St. Joseph Catholic held off Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
