The Blue Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Armuchee (Rome, GA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Armuchee beat Gilmer (Ellijay, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 14. Douglas County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Alexander (Douglasville, GA).
