The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Leopards come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Lovejoy beat Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Corsicana will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX).
