Georgia High School Volleyball - Fayette County over Stratford Academy

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) and the host Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA), observed Fayette County's volleyball squad notch a victory over Stratford Academy by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Fayette County improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Heritage (Conyers, GA) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Heritage won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA)

The Eagles now hold a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Upson-Lee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 12. Stratford Academy will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
