Texas High School Volleyball - Lamar Consolidated over Fort Bend Hightower

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) and the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), observed Lamar Consolidated's volleyball squad notch a victory over Fort Bend Hightower by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Lamar Consolidated improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to meet the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-0. Fort Bend Dulles won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX)

The Hurricanes now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northbrook for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. Fort Bend Hightower will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Episcopal (Bellaire, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
