Trabuco Hills Mustangs (Mission Viejo, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Vaqueros meet the Tesoro Titans (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 14. Irvine will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA).
