Utah High School Volleyball - Millard over Piute

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Millard Eagles (Fillmore, UT) and the visiting Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT), observed Millard's volleyball team top Piute by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Juab (Nephi, UT). The Wasps enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Juab was knocked off by Carbon (Price, UT), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds face the Milford Tigers (Milford, UT) in a 1A Region 20 test, on Wednesday, August 13. Piute will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Tintic (Eureka, UT).
