Georgia High School Volleyball - Upson-Lee can't get by Stratford Academy

Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Stratford Academy improves its record to 2-8 on the season. The Eagles host Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Sherwood Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA)

Next, the Knights meet the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 14. Upson-Lee will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Newnan (Newnan, GA).
