Georgia High School Softball - River Ridge bounces Etowah

The River Ridge Knights routed the host Etowah Eagles softball squad by a final score of 11-3 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs go into the AAAAAA Region 7 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah notched a victory over Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 16-2, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Alpharetta for a AAAAAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, August 17. Etowah will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
