The Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) football defeated the host West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK), 16-8 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) in a Northern Lights bout, on Friday, August 19. Chugiak will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 30-0 non-league win over Redington (Wasilla, AK).
The Wolf Pack (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK). The Ravens enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Ben Eielson lost by Kenai Central (Kenai, AK), 32-7, in a non-league bout.
