The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Dunwoody for a non-league match on Monday, August 15. Mount Vernon will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Riverwood moves to 2-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to South Cobb (Austell, GA) to face the Eagles in a 6A Area 4 match on Tuesday, August 16. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 2-0. South Cobb won 17-2 in their recent non-league match against Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA)
