The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the 5A Region 7 bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Calhoun held off Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 7-0, in a non-league bout.

The Bruins now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Coahulla Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 16. Northwest Whitfield will confront a Colts squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Colts record now stands at 6-0.
