In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Chisholm Trail Rangers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Rider Raiders.

The Rangers (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Centennial nudged Shoemaker (Killeen, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Raiders encounter the Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 battle, on Tuesday, August 16. Rider will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Burleson (Burleson, TX).
