Texas High School Volleyball - Groveton can't hold off Cleveland

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Cleveland Indians volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Groveton Indians.

The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Stafford (Stafford, TX). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Stafford was edged by Groveton (Groveton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians clash with the San Augustine Wolves (San Augustine, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 16. Groveton will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Carlisle (Price, TX).
