The Eastside Eagles volleyball team (Covington, GA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA)

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Creation Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Crusaders enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, New Creation Christian Academy was nudged by Konos Academy (Fayetteville, GA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 16. Eastside will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Purple Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA).
