The West Trojans prevailed the host Ennis Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson-Shiro for a non-league test on Saturday, August 13. West will confront a Fighting Owls team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Iola (Iola, TX). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 3-2.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Wortham (Wortham, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Wortham dropped by Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
