The Hornets (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Rivercrest lost by Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians clash with the Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 16. Grand Saline will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Hooks (Hooks, TX).
