Texas High School Volleyball - Hughes Springs Mount Vernon

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Mount Vernon Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hughes Springs Mustangs.

The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Queen City (Queen City, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Queen City lost by Harmony (Big Sandy, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Community Braves (Nevada, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 13. Hughes Springs will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Braves come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX).
