In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Texas City Stingarees.
The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sweeny (Sweeny, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
The Stingarees now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Houston for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 27.
