With the triumph, Sullivan East advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Unicoi County (Erwin, TN) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 0-1. Unicoi County lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against University (Johnson City, TN)

The Chiefs now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cocke County for a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. Cherokee will clash with a Fighting Cocks team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Berean Christian (Knoxville, TN). The Fighting Cocks record now stands at 1-0.
