The Siegel Stars soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Independence Eagles to 2 in the Stars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Stars now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Nolensville for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 15. Siegel will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Blackman (Murfreesboro, TN). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Independence moves to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles host Rossview (Clarksville, TN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 15. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Rossview won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hume-Fogg (Nashville, TN)
