With the win, Jackson improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league test on Monday, August 19. The Lions go into the test with a record of 4-1.

The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westminster for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27.
