Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), observed Lakeview Academy's volleyball team top Franklin County by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Gainesville, GA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Johnson was knocked off by Commerce (Commerce, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 15. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rabun County (Tiger, GA).
