The Grace Community Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Pine Tree Pirates to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Gilmer for a non-league outing on Friday, August 16. Grace Community will play a Buckeyes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Pine Tree drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX) to play the Crusaders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 13. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
