The War Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Elbert County for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 15. Putnam County will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Greene County drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Social Circle (Social Circle, GA) to face the Redskins in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 2-1. Social Circle won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA)
